About vaccination

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Our countries are experiencing a rebound in COVID-19 in the form of the DELTA variant, in order to curb this epidemic it is strongly recommended to be vaccinated. We all have a responsibility to protect our communities, our families and ourselves from the severity of this contagious disease.

We invite you to get vaccinated so that our places of worship can remain open and accessible to all. We also remind you that despite the vaccination, it is necessary to keep the barrier gestures, that is to say: disinfection of the hands and wearing of the obligatory mask. Also note that according to Matignon “places of worship benefiting from constitutional protection are not affected by the sanitary pass”, but on the other hand, the sanitary measures in place are still preserved.

I remind you that some of our parishes had to close during the second wave due to the negligence of some of the faithful.

We hope that we will all be vigilant and responsible in this new period. Know that your bishops and many priests have already been vaccinated.
