Centenary of the Archdiocese

To mark the centenary of its foundation in 1921 by a decree of Patriarch
Tikhon entrusting Metropolitan Evlogyi (Gueorguievski) with Russian
Orthodox parishes located outside the borders of Russia, the administration
of the Archdiocese of Russian Tradition parishes in Western Europe puts
online a Centenary Site: centenaire.archeveche.eu

It discusses the century-old history of this ecclesial entity, that of its
parishes and other institutions, as well as the great figures of the
Archdiocese who marked the history of the Church in the 20th century. In
partnership with INA (French National Audiovisual Institute), the site is
illustrated with numerous photographic documents, as well as a large
selection of extracts from archival films.
