Communique of the Diocesan Administration

You are reminded that the Pastoral Assembly which is to meet on Saturday 15 December 2018, with the participation of members of the clergy and to which the lay members of the Archdiocesan Council are invited, does not constitute a statutary decision-making body regarding the future of the Archdiocese. It is an occasion for consultation and communion by His Eminence the Archbishop in charge with his clergy, indispensablefor the exercise of the episcopal ministry.

The legitimate collegial bodies to which our statutes, directly inspired by the Moscow Council of 1917-1918, entrust the administrative responsibility for any decisions are the General Assembly which brings together the clergy and the lay representatives of the parishes and, between two assemblies, the Archdiocesan Council.
